The rig.Brought this home Weds...

This is the sport version Trident 13 without the Rod Pod cut out and factory flushmounts. This boat did not have "billboard" sonar shield graphic.I mounted two Ram tubes like twin mortars on the deck. They are right within reach and outside of my paddle arch.

Strapped to the deck is a cutting board.I will also lash a dry bag with tackle trays to the deck.

I'll be installing a Himminbird 383c and I'll be using a combination drybag/float as a bow bag inside the hull that will make my ff battery water tight and more buoyant.Once secured in the bow, the battery should also provide some ballast.

With holders on the fishing seat and the Plano 1612 box I may have enough, but I can always add more behind the seat.

Next comes the sonar and then she'll be ready to slay!

Nice set up Aaron!

That rod holder on the plano box is very clean. Who makes it?

The holder is made by Berkley, I cut it down to fit the well and attached it to the Plano box w/ ss hardware.I bought the Plano box on Amazon.

Aaron, I noticed that your seat seems to have a pouch attached to the back of it.  Do you have any problems with it hindering your seat from angling back or pushing your seat forward?  I kept having that problem when I used a Surf to Summit seat with a backpack on my P15.  Finally, just had to do away with it because whenever I put anything of size or weight in it, it would sink down and act as a wedge between my back and the Plano box.

Yep, I had the same problem too and don't really put anything in the bag.For a while I was keeping my small 1st aid bag in there, but the zipper broke back in 2002.While the pocket is pretty much useless, I still like the seat and it has given me many years of service.

I have the same issue...So I just put in gloves and a few small snacks. I was thinking of somehow attaching a little 'shelf' or strap to the plano box to keep it from dropping down.

Here's my T13 with Humminbird 383c sonar installed.

I use an old-school 12v for a power source. It usually lasts three sessions between charges. It is housed in a dry bag/float secured below deck with reverse mounted pad eyes and ss hardware.I also fill the bow with an additional float bag.

Float bag with battery secured...

With rod mortars in the "cease fire" position, the deck is pretty clear and secured for surf launch/landing...

Thigh brace install to follow...

With the rod pod not cut out do you have to scoot all the up to the forward hatch to stuff the rods in the hull on a launch/landing in the surf? I wish I could afford a t-13 right now for my go to boat on the ocean. I havent had the t-15 I bought in Jan on the open ocean yet.  A little wind could blow this boat around I'm thinking. Nice job on your hull attachments.
