Fishing Report That's a BIG BUTT
On Wednesday 4-8 Keith Fraser of Loch Lomond Bait in San Rafael said " The wind picked up and it rained", but a 32-pound halibut was landed off of the Paradise Park Pier last evening to go with the 36-pounder taken off the pier on Sunday. Rumor has it that both fish chose Loch Lomond shiners for their last meal. Keith said sturgeon fishing is the "Best all year".

i'm likely in if in town...which is only about 50% likely at this point....

  Adam, is it going to rain that day?   I might partake.  It would be my cherry trip on the water though!   Plenty of time to decide and prepare, (Get meds!)

it should NOT be raining....and it's pretty calm out there....if you want a magic pill(shouldn't be nessesary) i will have one for you.

LOL. Keith is a great guy and those two fish WERE caught from the pier, but I know for a fact that the one from Sunday didn't take ANY bait because it was accidentally snagged (and kept). That angler was also using frozen 'chovies for bait, not shiners.

Count me in on this one.  The Halibut season will be in full swing and the bass will be in town as well.
