:smt067 Yup a sweet shooting, little simi-auto .22LR cal rifle.  Has 10 round internal mag, (At least mine does) Great little "Plinking gun"

Hey Ben, I might be able to hook you up with a Marlin, if you can't find a Ruger.  Similar deal but tubular, (higher capacity) mag.

I think Im sticking to Ruger, you can get 30 round mags, and there's a neat little gadget that hooks up 4 - 10 round clips together.
Many configurations for the rifle too,I might just get a new one if I dont find a used one, still less than $400. I had one a long time ago and loved it.

They are nice.  My pop has one.  Watch out with the clips, though, I think anything over 10 is a no-no, isn't it?

I would like to set one up to shoot SniperSubSonic rounds...  pffft!  Pffft-pffft!

Good news and bad news.

Big 5 does carry them as does Sports Authority( i think). They are about $250 bucks.

If you are looking for heavy barrels, check out the Green mountain line. They are about as good as anything on the market. I picked up a neavy Fluted barrle for about $80.00

Not sure if you can purchase mags that hold over 10 rounds in CA.

The 50 rd mag I had for mine never really worked.  It was plastic, and cheaply made.  I was lucky if I got 10 to 20 rds before it jammed.   Spent more time clearing the darn thing than it would have taken me to relaod the 10 rd so I shot it with the 10 rd mag!

If you buy aftermarket mags for the 10/22, get the ones with the metal lips.  The plastic lipped ones jam like crazy.  Cabelas has an assortment of clips.

Have you seen this?   I like what he says at the end.

I have one like this, but if I did it again I'd get the heavy target barrel.  I have a source in Petaluma that can get the Target barrel version for $350 plus tax/shipping/DROS.  PM me for contact info.

Ben, go with the new. Once someone buys one they hold on to them forever. Thats because they last forever. Money well spent!

Hi Shooters:

I had a Browing T-Bolt before I had Kids. Sweet
group and, you can shoot all day. Too bad homes
were built around our gun club so, the city
of El Cajon closed out Range. :smt044
