I ditched work for the day to try and get my pram on the water while there was still some water around.  MickFish was kind enough to join me and show me the way.  Our boats/racks/trailers were a perfect match for an easy shuttle...

The weather was GORGEOUS, but the water was a little low and super clear.  Mike did get a short-lived hookup while plugging this slot...

Hanging with Mike is never good for BLOTY participants...this day was no different.  Smoked pork ribs, potato salad and ICE cold Foster.  :smt007 :smt007

And then came the "hill". I brought a mega-rolleez and my pram just about killed us.  Mikes pram is a feather and was easy money.  Thanks for the great time, company and chow Mikey  :worship

Had we only caught something...

Mike is definitely a pram-master, he made it look effortless. I am definitely a pram-newb.  I did better than I hoped but my grace/efficiency score was a -235.

The prams are however truly sweet one man fishing machines.

The end of one season but the beginning of another! :smt007   It seems to me you missed the most important pic of all. :smt003

Excuse me Sean could you possibly enlarge your last photo cropping out all save the girls? :smt007 What a beautiful day. Those are some sweet looking craft you two have. Patrick and I will try our hand from memorial to steelhead tommorrow. Lower and clearer and mucho bikinis are the way to enjoy the day and possibly a fish.

How about trying the zoom lense next time!!  :smt005 I haven't use my pram in a few years, but they are nice and comfortable to fish out of aren't they? I rigged mine with a removable wheelbarrow wheel for transporting.

I'll make sure to get a telephoto.  Wheels are pretty much a neccessity on mine it is HEAVY. My yak cart worked ok, but it moved around too much on the wet hull, I gotta fab something better.  It is a joy to fish out of, I can't wait til the fall, its going to the Klamath for sure.

Sean~
Is your pram too heavy for transom wheels?
I am sure you could fab some Roleze wheels into one.

Tote:  Its not that heavy, but it feels like a million pounds.  Wheels near the center would be WAY nicer.

I miss using my pram  :smt010.
My 8' feels heavy. Speaking of wheels, there's a thread on pram wheels on the Blanton site with pics of several different rigs. It might give you ideas.
