Seems like we should be planning something for the southern opener.  Anyone planning on taking that day off to be first on the water?  If not Friday, then for sure Saturday should be a hookup event!

I've got it marked on my work calendar, but won't know for a few weeks if the timing will work out. So, I'm tentatively planning to be OTW on the opener, but if the weather looks poor I'll skip it, work, & wait for conditions to improve.

After last year's opener, how can I NOT take May 1st off work?!  :smt044
I'm planning to hit Stillwater Cove unless it's clam enough for a south coast trip. Will probably fish Saturday too. And I think CSBA is May 2 also.

Cove in Carmel?

Yup, right here bro:

And here's last year's opener...shameless promotion haha. Man that seems like a long time ago, even though it's only been a year.
