Managed to clear enough off my plate at work to skip out at 2:30 and was on the water by 3:00. Browns Ravine has water over the parking lane ... ramp is not even visible. Water was 64 degrees ... I found some fish in a cove but couldn't interest them in anything. Saw a couple of other folks in Kayaks and talked to one ... hadn't had a bite all day.

Even if the fish were playing hardball at least you got out on the water. Each time I get on the water I enjoy myself whether the fishing is good or if it stinks. You'll probably have better luck next time.

what were you going for?

I love going for land locked salmon there.

If you go by the damn trolling a pink and silver flasher with a pink hoochy or apex usually works for me
Everybody should have the opportunity to fish

Glad to hear the water level is going up. I thought that lake was going to dry up like my 401k. :smt002

I'll be on Lake Natoma tomorrow morning. My son-in-law is training for a triathlon and asked me to paddle along while he swims a couple miles. I might hit Folsom after that depending on the weather.

Thanks for the report, Al
