My DVD came in the mail this morning.  I have already watched it twice.  I have to say it is very entertaining.  Great to see how everyone has their own flair and techniques.  It isn't a how to video, but more of a pump you up and make you ready to go video.  It is easy to gleen a few tips from the video though.

I really loved the Alaska segment and it was really fun watching the kayaks shooting the rapids .  I don't want to give too much away, but I give it a thumbs up.  I loved seeing the scenery where they were fishing, while I sat on my couch and wished I was there. :smt010

The video is over a hour long, and the camera work is well done.  I think I am going to have to get a video camera now, ala Abking.  Videos are cool.

It also made me want to look into taking some trips with the kayak.

Hey Matt,
Glad you liked the movie. We sure had a lot of fun doing it and I think that comes across in the movie.

It looked like you all had a ball!  I got my wife to watch it tonight.  She loved the Orca's and was amazed at your white water runs.  She was making all kinds of gasps and "oh my" remarks when you got stuck in that hole.  She stated she would be really intrested in coming down to San Diego or Baja for a vacation/trip.  I might have to book in on one of your trips!  For her sake of course :smt002

I would love to get into some yellowtail and dorado.  I love yellowtail sashimi!  I miss the trips out to Catalina, if only I knew about kayak fishing back then.  Matt

Well come on down.
We have room still on all of our East Cape trips, with Sean and Mark to Rancho Leonero and with me to Punta Colorada.
