Hit the rockwall right after work, launched at 10. It was a beautiful day on the water. Hardly any wind and the surface was calm like a swimming pool. Sun was out full blast managed a nice sunburn.

Trolled a firetiger frenzy all the way down to the marker buoys at the end of the wall for no hits. Switched to my hali rig pinned on a chovie and began a series of many many drifts. Drifted the deep channel, 15ft, 20ft, & 25ft depths. Work the whole area from 1030 to 3pm. I had one big bendo on the rod around 1230 that came unbottuned.

Coast Guard on a tiny inflatable, CG Cutter, & the big rigid inflatables were patroling the whole area boarding all the pbers that ventured into the area.

Downed my last beer and trolled back to the launch.

Nice weather! The water was so glassy.  Thanks for the pictures and report.

Dude, what a combination. Fishing and drinking. :smt044 I can't wait for those bait
balls to start coming around the area. I love drifting live chovies there for the hali.
Perhaps we can try next week?

Most likely inspections. They were hitting everyboat in the area.

One of my favorite areas to fish. When ARW is happening it is HAPPENING. Live bait is the ticket. Their were tiny schools of smelt around but they just weren't interested in my sabiki.

Dude. You are killing me. I am wearing a suit and tie and am stuck at my desk all day daydreaming about downing a cold one at ARW.
