Vasco......straight south to Tesla and RIGHT.
Then left to Mine's Rd......

Oh yeah...yeah...yeah....

(The "Old Mines Road"....from its junction all the way up to Mt. Hamilton and back is a     f a b u l o u s    single day rnd-trip bicycle ride, bring water and food and don't do it in august or you will melt)

So...Gee....the only thing not covered as an approach to Del Valle is a parachute drop.

the easiest way is to take vasco rd south take a right at the end of the road on tesla rd, left on mines all the way to the gate. no down town to mess with.

This is how I always get there. Smooth sailing all the way.
