Looks like a great day out there on the Delta NewChickie. Too bad the fish weren't cooperating... give a month though. Looking forward to more reports.

Moochie-
You never ever cooked me a meal and I've put you on the fish. I see how it is...

Where's the love???

Welcome to the group and congrats on your first yakking trip in the delta. That is only the beginning! even if you don't catch anything, there is always something cool or weird to look at out there.

BTW  - Pink is not a sanctioned kayak gear color. Acceptable substitutes are chartreuse, redcraw, and variations of chrome.  :smt003

Welcome to the madness!

Does that rule out hot pink?   :smt044

Now chrome I could handle!  I was thinking maybe the neon lights around the rim of the kayak... just to be obnoxious  (juuust kidding!)

I just checked the bylaws and there appears to be a revision that I was not made aware of. Looks like pink was added but not without protest(I have sent a letter).  :smt003

Please refer to the following link for an updated list of acceptable colors. :smt012 :smt003

Oh it appears as though I have made a mistake.

"Then we layered in proven walleye colors/patterns atop a pure chrome base"

Feel free to bring/wear pink in Walleye country but don't get caught with it in CA or someone may put a banana in your boat( or you may have to make tri tip sandwiches for everyone at the next potluck).

Ha Ha rookie. :smt003
