recently put some days (and night) fishing the clear lady with J Shirk (azteckayak). It was cold and the bite was slow. I think we ended up with maybe 12 fish for 4days+ of fishing. all standard issue.
basscar has been struggling as well but there are some recent reports of bigger fish in the shallows and smaller fish in the deeper rocks.
not much to report but here are some visuals
pray for rain

I want to be at the NorthEnd!...it looks so much warmer there.
Thanks for the CLake update Terry!!
3 fish per day sounds and reads SLOOOW!.....making the bite THAT much better in a few weeks, i'm sure.

Calm before the....?

I've got my fingers crossed!  I've got a free pass for the last weekend this month and I'm thinking of heading up that way.  I'll keep ya posted just incase you've got some time to get out on the water, Terry.

Thanks for the report!

Thanks for putting me up brother.  I had a great time.  It was well worth the drive.  It would have been worth it for 0 fish just for the cards and Richmond Park.

The waders were a mess to try and fix.  I almost bought a new pair of nobees at the Long Beach fishing tackle and boat show but J talked me down.

Hey would you let Ashley and Dan know that Kristen Halvorsen (a friend of theres) is a setter for UCSD.  I know her from recruiting but they thought she maybe played for me at SDSU.

Anyway thanks again and I'll be seeing you in April.

Looking forward to your reports when the mayhem breaks loose up there.  I'll be up that way in June, one of these days I'll have to get there during the spawn.  Is the water level going to leave the tules high and dry this year??  Hope not......

It was great to have you up here. Ill give D&A the message.
They/We had a close call at the park. They had a kitchen fire after hours :blob8:.
Fortunately the alarm/supression systems worked perfectly and the legendary RP was saved. I almost vomited when I heard there was a fire but learned soon after that its just a few days of cleanup and repairs and they are ready for more NCKA adventures.
The county would not have let them rebuild over the water as the regs have changed.
too close

Let me know before you head up and I will hopefully have some info that can help. Unfortunately I may still be down in fresno on that weekend and wont be able to join you but Ill still have my c-lake network for reports.
we have to hook up for prespawn though. ill keep you posted

we need alot of water, about 3 feet, before any of my favorite hunting grounds will even be fishable.
June may be a little late. The usual suspects are doing 7 days here in April instead of our usual May tour out of fears that this lake will turn to guacamole earlier than the norm.
pray for rain.

Thanks for the report Terry. Looks like you saved me some driving for the time being. Soon though... I'll be on the road up... I'm thinking April.
