Blimey, great work Sonny.  That's a monster. It was worth all the hard work with the shrimp pump yesterday then!

Awesome Sonny...that sturgeon was almost as big as your yak!

I almost didn't recognize your Hobie because you had a real paddle strapped on as opposed to a shovel.

So was your secret bait the blood worm we dredged up yesterday or did Allen take it home for a pet?
Good news Bro, that must have been a fun ride.

Craig, I take back what I said about sturgeon fishing being boring.

Hi bassmanben,

Yes, it is the Hobie Sport.

Gary,

The secret baits were "Ghost shrimps from Tomale Bay" freshly pumped the day before  :smt003

Sonny, was the secret bait the ghost shrimp I dug up thinking it was a clam?  It was big enough to eat as a appetizer...

What a beautiful day with the big winds forecasted for early afternoon holding off until the last ten minutes of fishing. Sailfish's  sturgeon  woke up the whole bay with even the power boaters whooping and hollering as the fish went airborne. Another great day on the water.

That would have been a cool sight to see the fear and excitment in Sailfish's eyes. Big sturgeon towing a dude in a 9ft yak.

I was Sitting in in my yak 3miles north of you and cheering for you the whole time brother.
