Fished the central delta area today.  The wind blew all day through the slough, and the water was murky as hell.  I threw jigs, crankbaits (various), and worms at 'em and they laughed.  Didn't get any love.
Staying home being lazy during all the recent rain sure made me feel rusty.  I lost two jigs to snags, and my favorite lipless crank as well.
Besides the wind, it was nice to be out in the sunshine, so theres that.  :smt003

Sorry the bite didn't pan out for you...from the reports it was a tough bite for everyone yesterday.

Sounds like you threw the right stuff at 'em.

glad you got out on the water Nate.  I think one of the toughest things about kayak bassin is attempting that slow/patient jig presentation in wind and chop.
still   a little T160 time is always good for the soul.
