My son Eric and I met up with our friends R1 and R2 at the north east parking area. MichaelD arrived as we were unloading. I went over a couple of safety items (always wear the PFD and what to do if you fall in)..glad I did. We hit the water and headed to one of my favorite spots. We arrived at the location, spread out and started fishing and R1 says "R2 just took a header!".  Sure enough, I turn around and see R2 in the water and his kayak was bottoms-up. Eric and I teamed up and got the boat upright and R2 back on. He headed back to camp for dry clothes and a Bloody Mary.

We continued to fish and/or take a nap in the sun. MichaelD and I each got one hit but no love.
Water was very stained.

Michael: It was a pleasure meeting and fishing with you today. Hope to do it again.

Nice pix. Sorry about the "loveless" trip but it sure looks nice out there on the water, although R2 might think differently.

Yes safety first especially for newbies!

Today was a good day for a nap in the sun. I ended up getting a farmers tan from being on the water. It was definetly nice today!
