Based on what I wonder?  I'm a Hobie guy, but to not see an OK on the list is absurd.  And the OB over the Revo or Adventure, ridiculous.

Take it with a grain of salt. Anything from the NAFC has to be taken with a grain of salt. Remember, they thought the Banjo Minnow was the best lure ever invented. Half the people in the NAFC are Cannucks, what do they know about anything?

If I had a Banjo Minnow I'm sure my luck would change. Do they make a larger version for the salt? Maybe a Banjo Anchovy?
The fishing was so good I thought I was there yesterday!

By no means am I an expert, but I have paddled at least 4 of the boats on this list and the only one that seemed worthwhile to me was the Tarpon 140. Also, I may be biased, but not having an OK on the list pretty much tells me the people who made the list have never fished out of a kayak.

I have a Perception Search 15 and i'm glad it made the list because that kayak is wonderful to fish from.

And banjominnow does make an extra large size

oh please! There are like 3 SI yak's. Now way in hell is a sit in will venture into to the salt (at least I wouldn't do it) There has to be a OK T or P 13/15 on the list. At every event there are several OK's there.

DUMB!

What was the criteria, or as Dilibeck said "based on what."  Everywhere I go I see OK's and not one OK listed.

No way are those numbers accurate...I have fished many places this past year (Iowa, S. Dakota, Minn., Nevada, and most of Central/Northern Ca...I live in Sacto) and the majority I see on the water for fishing are: OK Prowler 13's/15's, Scramblers, a few Trident 13's, Tarpon 12, 14, a few 16's, some Cobra's, a few Malibu's, and a small mix of Emotion kayaks, older Neckys, a few Hobies, maybe one Search, that's about it. My estimate from what I have seen is that between Ocean Kayaks and WS Tarpons...looks like comprise about 50% of the yaks I have seen. Your mileage may vary.

i'm sure that why only 9 made the cut......if they included OK it would have to "X" about 5 off the list.......

It should say "the Bottom 9" *see the various models from OK for more info on  TheReal_#1!! :smt005

if they didn't ask NCKA for a Real_TimeOpinion? who did they ask and where did the facts come from?.......i bet cha the magazine has NO OceanKayak adds in it.....just a guess! :smt004

silly man.....there is no #1 or #9....they are treated as EQUAL(the same) hence the O.K. omission.
