Don't forget the free online version of Kayak Angler Magazine

Do you have something in mind?  Submit an article.  Contributors will receive a two-year print subscription to Kayak Angler magazine, Kayak Angler cap and Kayak Angler measuring tape sticker.    Oh.. and lot's of fame and glory.

For submission to the online version follow these guidelines
http://www.kayakanglermag.com/features/writing-photo-guidelines.html
and submit to
[email protected]

for the print version submit to
[email protected]
(I can't seem to find the guidelines for the print version).

If you don't want to write an article yourself, bug your local kayak fishing pros (ChuckE, SBD, SCAllen, Polepole, Mooch, Yakhopper, etc..) it's their job to promote the sport in the area.  Polepole has been good about writing articles (e.g. his downrigger article in this issue).

Sorry, didn't mean that as a slag.  I saw they are asking for contributions but I'm not qualified.

But just by reading this board, you see so much going on, almost an event a weekend.  Especially with the crazy sturgeon bite this year...  Nice to see the AOTY and NCKA get a mention, though...

I guess the reality is we don't have a huge scene like Socal or the East Coast..  but it sure seems like there's a lot of us!

Sorry my comments weren't necessarily meant solely for you Eric.  The only way to get more representation is to get more of NCKA'ers writing and submitting articles.  Right now, NWKA (Northwest Kayak Anglers) has better representation (more mentions and articles) in Kayak Angler Magazine than NCKA despite the fact we have 1/4 the membership up here.  The only nods to NCKA seem to come from PAL and he's primarily a SoCal guy.

Good points.

Yes, I saw Chuck E, but then again I see that pic almost every day since I got bit by the Hobie bug....  The catalog in my AOTY bag is seeing some heavy usage.

Tired of the paddle, cast, paddle, cast, paddle... paddle, cast routine...

I know, a Revo and one of them built-in tackle trays and I'd be SET, (and broke).
