I fished with my dad today from his boat. We fished red white and blue beach north of santa cruz. A lot of halibut there, we came back with 2 and lost 2, we were using live anchovies. A lot of bait out there, looked like herring. The water was nice with about 5 foot swell, wind came up hard around noonish. We ened up with 1 halibut that was 30.50 lbs and one that was smaller but didnt weigh. Heres the link to the picture from bayside marine, im pretty sure you can tell wich one it is.
