We are going to meet at the east end of the big dirt lot at Lawsons Landing on Saturday. Meet time will be at 11AM. First we will pump some shrimp for bait at Montezuma on Sunady. Then get into the kayaks and paddle over to the sand bar. It should be exposed enough by 1 to land and start digging. Low tide is at 3PM a -0.5. Diug until 5or so maybe earlier depending on how cold and rainy it is and if we get clams readily. All welcome. See ya' there. Craig

We'll be there! We might drop crab gear while you pump shrimp.

Bring a round point shovel, a bucket 5 gallon and an ice chest to put the clams in on the way home. Put some bay water in the ice chest and the clams will flush the sand out. its messy work so I wear my wetsuit and change into warm clothes afterwards. Hot tea at the truck following.

I just spoke with the lady at Lawsonsand she is excited about the tide onSaturday. People have been getting limits of gaper clams on Clam Island and Seal Island. The weather man is even predicting some sun for Saturday so wouldn't that be a hoot to have a nice sunny afternoon to play in the mud. Just like years ago. :smt006
