Pine Flat Res. 3/2/09

Headed to Pine Flat Res. on Monday for some much needed time on the water.
Got a late start and was on the water around noon. Launched at Deer Creek (Trimmer still closed) and paddled around the cove for about an hour for 1 fish and a lot of debris. Headed out to deeper water and began to have a better score and less debris. Across the lake at Zebe Creek the fish were stacked off the main point in the top 15ft of 100ft water. Trolled a Rapala F5 in Vampire color with 6lb. P-Line 50ft behind the yak. In total caught 15 fish from 13 - 17in. and had a great 5 hours on the water. Sorry for the few pics as I forgot to charge the battery in the camera and it died after a few shots.

Nice underwater shots, Ive always wanted to fish that lake but always seem to stop and fish under the dam! Thanks for the report...Andy
