peddle powered fishing platform.

There you go. FYI Pedal. :smt001

Sorry I guess I was subconsciously trying to introduce a new word "peddle".  It's a portmanteau of "pedal" and "paddle" and it is pronounced "pee-dul".  :smt001

At 4:58 into it when he was talking about storage in the back did he actually mention storing bales of coke?????
This might be a big hit in Miami.  :smt044 :smt044 :smt044

Well, he does suggest the center hatch by your crotch would be good for storing one's "stash".   :smoke Assume he wasn't talking about tictacs.  What a dumbass  :smt044

Hey, I'd buy it. It looks perfect for the delta. I watched the video on Hobie's site of putting it on the top of a van, it looks easier than what I go thru with my Trident. Room for the dog too! MSRP is ~ $2100 from what I could find on the net. All I need to buy for fishfinder is another transducer and power cable.

I think they should have made it metalflake gelcoat like a bass boat! :smt003

Ya mean this???

One of my friends sent that to me, proof that Al Gore was right, "Manbearpigsquirrel" does exist! That South Park episode was a cover up. I sprayed beer threw my nose all over the computer screen and keyboard laughing so hard,

I thought it would make a great avatar.

Wow... that thing is a beast of a boat.  It's definitely no kayak as we know it.  Although it can be cartopped, I expect most owners will treat it like a skiff and tow it with a small trailer.  No doubt, the target market is the inland bass lake crowd who think we're all nuts for fishing out of narrow kayaks.  The ability to easily stand up in the Pro Angler and fish is definitely cool and that seat sure looks comfy and dry.  The turn on a dime rudder is neat too.  I doubt this tank will win any races.

I'll keep an open mind until I get to try one out.  There's one thing I know for sure --- kayak fishing is an evolving sport and you can expect to see some crazy things in years to come.  Bring it on!

With the exception of the weight issue it looks like an awesome boat. They put some really awesome features in this kayak. I really like the rod storage and the hatch up front is really cool too. If I were to ever buy a hobie, this is the one I would seriously consider. Now they just need to make a mirage drive that goes in reverse. It would make such an awesome bass fishing platform.

I bet you would need a REAAAAAALLLLLLY LOOOOOOONG paddle, 300cm maybe? I'm going to Fred Hall Show for the weekend, I am going to try to get a test ride while down there at OEX. Once I do my taxes, I may have a NEW boat this month. I'll be a 2 kayak family (like I didn't see that coming).

I doubt paddling is part of the PA's design. They have a special handle that it comes with to make the regular kayak paddle into an oar.

The PA's made it to Versus Country.

I think you mean canoe paddle, not oar.
