I will be heading down Sunday night.  I really want to hit it hard Monday morning and get in a full two days.  I have a buddy with me.  Might wimp out and get a Motel 6 somewhere.  Really do like a shower.

Any suggestions on where a decent reef is off refugio?  Anyone wanna PM me a GPS starting point?  Or a tip?  We'll look for a patch of kelp and start throwing swimbaits.

First time doing this.  Can't wait to slam the hooks on my first calico bass.

Where can I get a lobster stamp for the hoops?

If you want to head in to Goleta or Santa Barbara, there's a few places you could try... SportMart, Hook Line & Sinker, Big 5 and SeaLanding at Santa Barbara Harbor

My wife has heard of bugs being caught in the El Cap / Elwood area... mostly deep but there is structure within paddling distance that attracts them as well.  We will be in SB Saturday through Wednesday.... fishing Saturday, Monday and Tuesday.  Hope to catch up with those that will be there.  Littoral, I'll PM my cell phone #.

Fellas, I'm In! just got the WAF approval this morning.  I will be heading down early tuesday.   FYI: Walmart in Santa maria also has Ocean enhancement stamps, Betteravia exit off of 101  about 60 miles north of refugio. It's right off the freeway.

Okay, goin Monday, hopefully early. That way I'll have more time to work on the beer-can fish god sacrificial alter.

My local source claims bugs are in close off Refugio BTW.
