Russian River 2/10

Mickfish turned me onto another sweet drift on his backyard river.
Heard of a few fish caught, saw some jumping, I had nada for about a 3 or 4 hr drift, beautiful river, clear and clean, stone bottom, even the few bankies we saw were very friendly, though we were careful not to drift over their holes. 

PS The Trident 13 is an awesome river boat, I just need to dial in an anchor system now.

I can't wait to see all the pics Ben!!   I'm gonna try to learn something at the Steelie Seminar tonite and try to apply it real soon on one, or two, or....

HA! In that second shot, I was wondering what the "drag" was on the yak- it was my sturg-anchor doing a fine job on dry land...
I still got crap in the truck, Ill post some pics when I find my camera.

Way to hit it on the hookup, Guys.   

Man... I'm just itching to get out there and give it a go. Looked like a great day on the water. BTW, how long was the drag out???

Bout 1 1/2 miles on a flat packed gravel road. You can make it longer the road goes quite a ways.

That's not too bad. That road must run along side the river I guess.
