Steelhead

Any thoughts or intel on if the steelhead are running again on the Russian or Navarro??  Thinking about trying one of them this week.  Or would we have better luck if we went up to the Eel? Thanks

The Navarro is closed so you can cross that off your list.  The pickens on the Russian are slim.

I just spent the weekend at Casini Ranch (Duncans Mills area), talked with several fisherman, no fish recently.

russian is absolutely quiet at the moment, drove the the river today out to the coast with the wife and it is looking so sad. saw maybe two people out wading one in the pg&e hole and the other above cassini, this season may be a wash. unless the gods decide to punish us with biblical floods and then a month of warm so we can then take pleasure in down runners.
