Started at 220 still at 214...no progress since last week.  No surprise there for me...I worked 6 days, traveled (ate at restaurants) and had 3 meetings at restaurants.  I only rode one day  :smt011  Glad I didn't slip though!!

Still eating well, I think.

good luck to everyone else...

Week 5  (where does the time go?).  Started week one at 205 and feel very lucky after the last week to be still  in the 201 neighborhood. This week I am going to hit the bike after work as I am falling behind on the exercise portion of my plan.

Start 194.7
w1 194
w2 192.2
w3 187.8
w4 188.4
w5 187.8

Had a brew-club meeting on Saturday, so basically infinite beer, cheese and crackers.  Hopefully I'll lose another pound or 2 today (not uncommon for Mondays) or my 1 week trend will be slightly upwards.

I broke 200!! Started @ 206 now at 199. Sorry I missed last week, inlaw invasion.

I got an exercise bike Sunday so hopefully that will accelerate my weight loss.

I missed last week.  Then had a biz trip with meals expensed, so I backslide.  But I'm still with ya!!

OMG, I went to McCormick and Schmitts seafood restaurant in Sac (2 nites).  The seared ahi salad and the mussels in red curry were worth every lb in back-sliderness.  That place has good seafood.

So...  I started at 225

Now:  210

This week I'm on the non seefood diet.  I see food and don't eat it.

The big bowl @ Sunnyvale skate park is a hellova cardio workout. :smt002 If you hit it like 8AM you can get a lot of runs in before others show.

can't upload a pic (i got laid off (which was good for me) and the jerks wanted their laptop back) but started at 255 and weighed in last night at 247.  Four weeks for me and 8lbs gone.  No lack of appetite but I'm definitely eating better foods.  No more travel/room service foods etc.  More time outdoors for me too.

My wife started me on a diet this time last year. I started by eating some fruit 1/2 hour before dinner, then more fruit for an evening snack before bed.
this kept me from munching on everything in the house and let me eat smaller meals as the fruit gives you some filling and is healthy. I keep my portions at the size of my fist, that means fist size meat, salad, veggies etc.

I went from 205 to 180 in 4 months (Christmas 2007 to April 2008) and have kept it off since. It's been a year now and I still weigh 184. I did it with no exercise except for kayaking. My wife thought I was on crack I was losing weight so easily! LOL

It really works, try an apple or an orange before the meal then grapes while watching TV or lounging.

Give it a try

Great work on getting healthy

Stoggie

Started at 197 and I've been roller coaster-ing with my weight, but in a generally downward trend.
Today I'm at 193.2 lbs. We've had visitors from back east since Tuesday which has meant In-n-Out, two days of wine tasting (Sonoma and Napa), and lots of eating out. They are headed out tomorrow and I don't forsee any more visitors for a while. Hopefully I can get back on the exercise track and make some real progress soon.

Sorry, no pic this week because my wife is out with the camera and our friends.  :smt006

I have been watching my diet carefully and included some exercise but it seemed
I hit some kind of plateau. Almost the same weight as last week. Starting weight
again was 171.2lbs.

Well... the vacation to Tahoe took it's toll this week... eating a little too good caused me to take a step back... 295 this week.  Not too bad though... still down 13 lbs total so I can't complain.  Still looking forward to breaking 290.
