Oh god, not another hippie jam band.. :smoke

I don't play grandpa instruments (non-electric), but I can offer my interpretive dance skills.

Who you calling a Hippie? :smt002

Dancing is optional!"

But clothing isn't!  Goodness what an image.......

I got out site reserved Banjotad.  I just got a tent site, no hookup's.  I am planning on just sleeping in the camper shell.  I reserved it for Thur-Sat night.  I think you were planning on coming in Friday?  We will PM plans as it gets closer.

I called Julie at The Tides today to congratulate her on a full house. She is TOTALLY AMPED!! Not only can we use the garage for the band, ect.. we get to use it to store our yaks and anything else we want to throw in there ( it is a 2 car garage). Not to mention their BBQ. I asked if the Inn of the Lost Coast had any deals as Great Bass 2 had asked about, Julie said she would contact them and let them know what was happening. The Inn is about a mile to the north of the campground and the phone # is 707 986- 7521 if anyone is interested. The Cove is really feelin the love and they are wondering what the hell 50 kayaks paddling helterskelter all over the ocean looks like.

So am I.

peteb, welcome to the band! :smt002
Anyone else a musician/singer? You don't even have to pass an audition! :smt004

To quote Mick and Keith,
"Ooh, a storm is threatenin my very life today
If I don't get some shelter, oh yeah I'm gonna fade away"

I think we will all get some shelter come mid May :smt003

That WILL be quite a sight!
We should also keep in mind that there will be plenty of other anglers there in private boats, six-pack charters, comm crabbers, divers, etc. Because if it's clam enough for kayaking...there sure as heck will be lots of boats too! So please wear your biggest smile and be extra courteous to the other boaters.
Thanks,
PK

Remember that story about a "plastic ocean", twice the size of Texas, made up of discarded plastic items, floating off the California coast...........

Julie at The Tides emailed me and she is now handling a vacation "cottage" that sleeps quite a few (6-12?) for $250/night right on the water.  If anyone's interested please contact her directly at The Tides Inn in Shelter Cove (easy Google!).
