2008 AOTY Awards Ceremony, BBQ/Potluck set for Saturday 02/21/09

Ill bring a little amp and a mic so we can hear all the speeches.

Cool...this falls on my wife's work weekend and 45 minutes after my Saturday class ends at De Anza, so there's no reason for me not to be there! Woohoo!

I'll be there pending any emergenies.
I'm also up for carpooling with someone on my way, that is if I don't decide stay in the bay area to fish sunday.

I just got confirmation that Hobie is continuing it's support for AOTY for 2009.  They'll be offering the 1st place winner with their choice of mirage drive kayaks (Adventure, Revo, or Outback) and they'll be providing contestants with captain's bags.

If you guys know any local tackle shops or fishing related business that want to donate prizes to raffle or goodies to include in our AOTY captain's bags, please hit them up.  Plan on about 75 participants and let the business owners know that we'll publicly acknowledge their support at our event and on our site.

Just let me know, so we don't duplicate efforts.  Bill, Mooch, and I are contacting those who supported us last year.

Bringin' an 8-layer BeanerDip (1 layer being Chorizo)   and the wife.

I will bring an assload of BBQed ribs( baby back) French bread, real sonoma county butter!

Mooch, is parking gonna be a situation if we have a big turnout?  Will it be OK if we tandem stack parking in boat trailer area?

Beth and I will be there, we'll bring some spanish rice.

Sounds like all I need to bring is an empty stomach. ChuckE/Mooch put the word out if were light on anything. No need to have 5 of the same thing. Happy to bring whatever is missing
