we headed out in the rain before lunch. we fished the nearby deep water for nada.  we paddled about a mile out to fish in calm balmy weather.  a few jumpers around, unusual for around here.  any way, one sturgeon 48" released, ghost, 8 ft, bottom of the tide.  i left them jumpin' and bitin', see you guys tomorrow! :smt003

oh i caught a liitle 7 gill also,

Nice work Chris. I hope you gave him strict instructions to bite when he hears an English accent tomorrow.

Hey, thats great.52 ft is deep for the bay. Where is it that deep over there? Looks like a nice lunch and flat water. Tommorrow ought to be real fun . There must be 20 guys going out. Good luck. Craig

hey craig 52 is the temp, 8 ft the depth.  you can get 52 ft near hunters point, which is a good summer spot for sharks.

Thanks kingfisher. As you can tell I still havent hooked up my 565 yet or I am just dumb. I better go and read the manual again. I figured I shouldn't read too much before I  actually have it working because I will just forget it anyway. I must be getting old. :smt010. That is a great report. I forgot to say that the sunset pics are way cool. Thanks

Congrats Chris, I love pics of people's "stuff" makes yak fishing look down right civilized,  of course the sturgeon pic is good, but I like the little 7 gill too.

As for that deep water near Hunters Point, I been eyeing that on the map and thinking about a BIG shark trip, just thinking about for now, WON had Matty Murakami holding his 8 1/2 seven gill on the cover this summer,,,,,,,, that's what wire cutters are for.....
