I have a 4oz pyramid sinker mold and a 1-8oz bank sinker mold.  Those handle all my needs.

You can make a mold with plaster, but they're pretty fragile.  I'd suggest a one piece mold (you'll get a slightly rounded flat face), but it'll last longer, flashing won't be an issue and it'll be easier to use than a clamshell mold.  You could also buy RTV silicone and make one, but that stuff is costly enough that it's probably better to buy one.  My bank sinker mold was only something like $10 on EBAY...  Last I checked fisherman's warehouse had a wide selection of molds for $34.

Start a Share a Mold or Trade a Sinker Post. I don't use sinkers very often but when I had my PB me and my buddies used to trade sinkers or swap molds all the time. I have 6 or 7 molds you are welcome to borrow.
