In 2009 I Resolve to...

...clean, recharge, and pack my gear immediately after each trip, stowed all in one container so I'll be ready to go at all times. 

I resolve to have a way to charge all batteries on the road, and/or keep spares at all times.

I resolve to always carry a bag and pick up any trash I encounter, (anywhere).

I resolve to get at least one new person into kayaking.

 

Release even more fish

Lose 20 pounds...I am a fat beotch right now!

NEW BOAT!!! ASAP!

....Target more species and shoot for top ten in AOTY!!!!!!!!!

Try and get out on the ocean with some of you guys this season!

Bring my 4-year old fishing more this year and take him camping at least twice this summer.

Slay some hog with my TC Encore pistol.

Catch some halibut (they've been my devil fish the past few years).

Drop 20 lb's... while well insulated for winter sturgeon fishing, I too am a fat son of a buck right now.

Buy a bigger house with a bigger yard and more storage (that's a stretch goal).

20 pounds?  no biggest losers here 

Ok I raise your 30 to 52, and 20 lbs to 40 lbs, and also need to catch a halibut.  I actually have a shot at 2 out of 3

Just get some "Stout" sized waders and accept it...  embrace it...  foster it...

- Increase my breathhold (partly why I bought the MTB) and gain a bit more confidence in the water
- Dive SoCal at least once
- Explore Big Sur a bit more
- At least start to actually plan a trip I've been putting off because of work/career

Sigh... First I will FINALLY put a hole in my kayak    And going to try like hell to get each of species for AOTY and see where that adventure takes me through out next year!  Specially looking forward to more good times with the NCKA crew!

Be glad to take you out for your first time.  Wont even try and suggest the Bean (as my buddies did) for a first launch!  Give it a try, and you will be hooked I guarantee it!!!
