Does anyone know where i can launch for Discovery Bay? I dont mind paddling to get there. Looks like their marina charges 20 dollars, way to painful to pay that much. Thanks!!!!

if you go to their office and let them know you are launching a kayak they will tell you to carry your gear down from the parking lot and they will let you launch for free. when you planning on heading out there? jeff

Jeff, thanks for the info, I am going to try to go in a couple of weeks. Let me know if you want to go my rack holds 2 yaks, I have turned my Camry into a yak hauling machine, my wife wont ride in it anymore!

I have a friend who has a house on the water in Discovery Bay...I really should go visit him, it's been years.  :smt003
