I was just out to Linda mar, great surfing day, but would not recommend launching a kayak in it.  Its pretty big, and consistent. Lots of white......in case your wandering......

I seen a double paddling around out there yesterday, didn't see any rods or fishing gear on board though.   It would have been interesting to see them land, there were some pretty big closeouts and surfers every 6" .....could have been dangerous.

Although I can't fish, the water was calm today 9/1. decent swells, wet launch but it can be done.  But is it worth it?  Should be some butts to catch if you have live bait.

On saturday we saw a diver who had a decent Hali. He mentioned that he chased a bunch around including a really big one.  he said he worked to about 35feet of water.  Drifting for buts inside the bay is a tempting option.
