I was gonna meet you out there today but got stuck in Berkeley with a job prospect -  couldn't ignore it to go fishing. 
What did you throw at 'em today?

Rob, it was nice meeting you and the misses.
No fish for me either, but plenty of surface action from various fish...
I was throwing pearl fishtraps, brushhogs, shallow AND deep crankbaits, and even tried the jitterbug.
all for nada...

But, I will be back out there, I really want to try the east side of the levee, but with a shotgun as well as the rod
