I almost didn't recognise ChuckE without the grin...  love the pic with him watering the lake in the background.
Yup... It wasn't my usual pic, but after finally catching a decent smallie and relieving myself, it was permagrin all the way! :smt003

Hey ChuckE--most guys mark their spot with a GPS now-a-days...you seem to prefer the canine method though  :smt003

Way to go Adam!  I'm glad you got the Berryessa-smallmouth monkey of your back...that should move you up the AOTY board.

Nice report, pics, and laughs as always.

Lino "tailwalk" sure knows Berryessa.  He's been talking up the smallie action there, so Adam and I took him up on it.  We all knew the action would be slow this time of year, but it still produced.  I caught 2 smallies (13.5 and 14.5 inchers) and a small LMB.

Lino.... Thanks for introducing me to one of your favorite lakes!
Adam... Thanks as usual for the great pics.

Credit goes to my good-old-buddy DM who introduced me to this gorgeous lake. Though it was really slow you manage to land 3. WTG, Champ.

Awesome pics, Adam! I love the Bald Eagle Island (or "Chi-Chi-Chi-Chia" Island)... will make good calendar image. We'll hammer this lake/island next spring.

Chuck/Adam, please PM me other pics. Thanks, Bros.

Hey Blue, that's funny!  :smt044
Actually, I was making a beeline to shore to pee when I got hit by the smallie.   I'm glad it didn't take long to land it, take pics, and release it.  The thrill almost made pee in my pants.

Way to go Adam!
Looks like you and the guys had a great time and the pictures were great.
I will put that smallie picture on my desk top as a benchmark smallie for this coming spring.
The snow is flying here in the wilderness and hibernation is at hand
Hope to see you soon

Awesome report FH. The color fading out of the pics when things weren't going good and then back to normal once you got the fish on. Getting all cinematic on us huh? :smt004 And the FH pose seals the deal! Sawheet!
