No, there's no sturgeon in the entire area, and if this rain comes through, it'll just make it worse.
 

 I've caught sturgeon in montezuma this past summer and fall off a power boat. I havn't fished the area for a few months so don't know what it's doing now. Where you guys launching from?

There are always sturgeon in there....

  Just a matter of them hitting,  I know boats have been getting them at the Mothball and the mouth of Monte's...

 I'll try to get my Broken Body out there, it's been awhile...

Use some fresh cured salmon roe if you can get some , if anything will get you bit this time of year , roe will ! As mentioned earlier - sturgeon are ALWAYS present in Montezuma , you just have to find them and they have to be feeding . Try fishing a 1.5-2 miles downstream of the bridge off the north side , good luck !

Come one come all. Looks like Duane and I will be hooking up for sure and maybe even that broken body dude from Sac. Fire.
Ben, The ugly dog is doing just fine and has grown quit a bit. She now retrieves on command and is doing very well with water. I have had a problem with her chewing on things like corner base boards. So I work her quit a bit but still very much the puppy.

Frank long time no hear from I wish I could join you for a little sturgeon fishing but got to work now days that's a blessing, good luck out there.

 But of course, what else is he going to say...

Opens at 6, but even that is sometimes iffy,

 Looks Good for me with 1600 mgs of Ibuprofen on Board......
