How is the Crabbing this year?

I haven't been crabbing yet this season, but a friend in Fort Bragg went crabbing and said almost all of them were undersized.  Has anyone been crabbing on the Mendocino Coast or on Big River lately?  Any luck?

I hear it's a little slow and they're a little on the small side up here too, Matt.

 

  My Dad just got back from Humbolt.  He tried crabbing from the rocks just off King Salmon (bought a beach house there), but didn't do too well.  He said a father and son were in a small skiff off the jetty and got a few decent sized crabs.
