SBD came over for lunch and adult beverages at "the park". We both happen to show up a little early and decided to do some fishing.
First I started working with a big swimbait and drug it slow and wounded along the rocks for no love.
Then I noticed todays conditions were perfect for line watching so I went wacky ,with 2 of my comfort flavors, but got no affection.
Some of my recent victims lips have been stained and raw, so I spent time with the crawjig ,with the secret sauce, working ledges I know hold fish, and AGAIN nobody wanted to party.

Thankfully SBD showed up with team of agents that were ready to risk it all in hopes of taking a monster from the clear lady.
No monster was found but we still had a great time. We went north today past haunts1 to one of the locals favorite points. Its fantastic when you want to do some nightfishing with the live music of Konocti in effect.
Sean was into them with the hot stick o the day that included a double that brought different strains.
Im pleading that my focus on artificials impaired my numbers today but I did manage 1 that was on the healthier side.
Spoke with some regulars and a local guide and the word on the water is that the jigs will take a few victims but only the agents will bring consistent fish and then only if you can find them. :spiderman:

Super nice fish guys.  I need to make another run up there this spring now that gas prices are a bit more reasonable.  Keep posting the winter LMB pics.
