Your probably not going to be fishing off this thing, but nice craftsmanship anyway.  Too bad the collective WAF for NCKA's membership doesn't amount to that sticker price.

This kayak was built with modern technique, design and materials.
Materials: African padouk, ash, ebony, fiberglass.
Paddle: Padouk, ash, ebony and carbon fiber cast handle.
Harpoon: Carved elk antler, wild oak and suet.
Seal: Solid maple. Hand painted Shaman's mask
The seal can be lifted off and the kayak is 100% sea worthy.
This kayak represents the past and present.

I think the seller may have inadvertently added a zero or two to the price, but I guess there is always a market for the most expensive & the least expensive.

I think the dead seal effigy might turn a few folks off though.

Ha! Funny to see you posted this because I saw the CL listing and almost posted it here, too!
Although, looking at the pics -- I still don't see the "hand painted shaman's mask" nor do I know what that has to do with the kayak. Maybe an artificial mojo-enhancer?

The shaman mask is painted on the deck in front of the cockpit. This guy gets style points for the seal carcass, I'd love to hunt one off my yak.
