hoped on a buddy's boat and ran out off china camp (my same spot), managed two little stripers and a zillion bat rays. worked out to deeper water when the tide slacked up inside, for a bunch more rays and sharks... grass shrimp.

water was a bit green, but turned dark after the tide got rolling.  just need some rain for sturgies i think

Other than sharks and rays seems SP bay has been empty this year, I think the stripers just cruised thru without spending any time there, and the sturgeon haven't shown up yet,

I actually haven't seen a single good report on SP bay this year,

almost always still "enough" to paddle...except for a few times per year...

You nailed it FisHunter...that is San Pedro Rd right next to the brickyard...wind waves were 6+ feet!
Breaking OVER the wall. 
That was last Jan.  Remember that storm that busted off the barge that tattered the McNears Pier? This was about an hour before that happened.
