Hey!  I may be heading out of hmb on sunday, weather depending.   I'll be dropping my crab pots then heading out to the reef.  There have been a  ton of large sardines and macs right outside the wall.  So I'll probably try and make bait first.  I'll be in a yellow outback launching from the hmb kayak co. 

Sardines and macks are still out there? Thats really good to know, I love sardines.

Do you know which wall? (N or S?)

We'll be launching from the N. Jetty parking lot; it's less of a paddle to the harbor mouth.

The bait has been hanging just outside the jaws.  The bait has been moving, but there was a huuuge ball 2 days ago.  I sat over a blacked out meter for over an hour!  That was right outside surfers beach.  The birds made it easy to find the bait.  The sardines are huge, but a little shy on the sabiki.  Maybe I'll see you out there.
