launched out of bullhead flat at the bottom of the tide in kinda nasty E wind swell... anchored up in my spot #18 with ghost and grass. wind waves died as time went on....lots of action - hits about every 10-15 min.  Water was perfect latte colored with the big swirlies...

7 big bat rays, 2 stripers (see crappy phone pic), 3-4 little sharks, ZERO sturgeon.

Dude I am actually sore today...STILL.  I went through 2 doz ghosties and nearly 1/2 # of grass (lot of $$$ for that day)

I anchored in 9-12 feet of water...and within 1.5 miles of the launch...

Mud Marlins are a lot of fun but can be quite a disappointment when you are hoping for something else on the other end.

Gonna hit that area a few times myself this year, but after my last outing   :smt003 I can relax a little, good report, after you've caught enough bat rays it gets to be a pain in the butt....

good info from SP bay, zero is meaningful,,,,,

but right now from Pittsburg to Rio Vista is hot for lots of shaker sturgeon, with a few keepers mixed in.

Good consistent action.  Thanks for this report.

The ocean was flat for me today but it was cold and foggy.  Closer to the gate was blown out.  JTF
