I know, it's two weeks away yet, but I was thinking it would be cool to get a few folks together and see off rockfish season in style. Maybe camping up the sonoma coast? Combined with some boletus hunting?

What do you reckon folks?

I was planning on going this weekend and the water looks too rough. Just my luck, the water looks perfect leading up to this weekend. I may be able to make the last weekend but won't know for another week or so.

I think I'd be up for this, depending on the weather as usual.

I'm planning to fish Sunday, for sure. And since Big Sur will be blown-out, I will likely end up launching from MBK or Pac Grove. I guess the good news is that we still have 3 days for the weather to improve.

Alright, the conditions for Sat look much better than Sunday. Anybody else want to fish tomorrow? Where we going?

I can't get away tomorrow, but I'm pushing hard to make it Sunday, swells be damned.  Probably Stillwater...maybe see you there Pat?

I just came from a little surf scoping drive from Davenport to SC. It was big, probably 8foot faces (or more) and Davenport. I'm contemplating a final trip to 4mile early tomorrow, as the lauch was doable there. With this swell, I think the lings & rockies will all be hunkered down in their holes though.
Anyone interested in Santa Cruz tomorrow?

Yeah, this swell is pretty big. I'm gonna puss out on this one. Barring a drastic change in weather this evening, I won't be kayaking. I know....super weak.
