Touch choice tomorrow.

USC at Stanford (4PM kickoff) or friend's wedding at 6PM in Emeryville?  Obviously I want to attend both.

Reasons for skipping either:  I'm a Bruin (boo 'SC), v. I'm not really that close with the groom.  I think my WAF would take a kick in the crotch if I went to the game.  Obviously can't do both. :smt013  I just don't know!!!

Group IQ is inversely proportional to the size of the group.

A Steelhead always knows where he is going, but a Man seldom does.

You have tickets!!! You're so lucky. That game is sold out. I remember being at a game at Cal in the late 70's when Cal upset Rickey Bell and USC. That crowd was definitely walking on Cloud 9. :groupwave :wav:

Scalp the tickets on craigslist, go to the wedding, buy more fishing gear with the proceeds.  ;)

A couple ways to approach this.

The season is about to close, if you plan on dumping some other engagement to get out before the closure then its wedding.

If you submitted your time off request in advance and got pre-approval to fish before the season closes....then its game on. Boo Stanford!

If you did not get pre-approved and opt for the wedding and don't use the waf to fish before the closure it will not roll over to next season. Thats just not how women roll. This could be a crap shoot with weather as a factor.

You can make this day really count by getting plastered at the tailgate, then attend the game, skip the ceremony and crash the reception to continue on what got started at the tailgate.  WAF completely out the window but you'll havea couple good solid moths to replenish.  Should be some big oppotunities since its the holiday season.

Whatever you wind up doing, do not under any circumstances watch Sex in the City as an extra credit assignment.  You're a salary worker, putting in extra hours will not equate to more WAF on pay day.....it just means you wasted time......and lost a couple notches on the man scale.

I feel for you waf gaf'ers

in a funeral the guy has a new adventure coming, or depending on your beliefs at least no more worries.  So technically weddings suck more :smt003
