Well I had to try out my new Camera so my Son and some friends and I decided to brave the cold and try our luck at Shaver Lake today, We got a late start (11:00 am) and met with some cold weather (40 degrees).
Trolled for 2 hours with no love and almost called it a day. Decided to try a favorite cove of mine and the water was 2 deg. warmer 55 from 53 and the bite was on. Even caught a few late Kokanee. Despite the cold, Friends and family had a great time.

Way to go Eric, kids and fish a winning combo. Looks like you had the lake to yourselves.

I'm not familiar with Shaver is it a good Koke lake?

How did you finally get that camera mounted?

Great Job Eric! Nice pics and great looking kokanee. I have yet to land one of those. Looks like a wonderful day with family and friends, despite the cold.
