Yes Sir!  In fact I'm heading up to Truckee this weekend to get some boarding in.  I'm in a cabin share up there so make it up to the snow quite often.

That was me above.  Not sure why it signed me as guest as it appears to me that I'm already logged in.   Let's see what happens this time.

Hi Joel,

John and I were talking about skiing when you were a sleep on the way home from San Luis Forebay last Sun.

I been skiing for some 35 yrs.  Have really slacked off in the last 4 or 5 yrs.  I do intermed. runs now.  No more black diamonds for me any more.  My mind says I can do it. But. my body tells my mind...NO WAY...

I was in the ski and snowboard club when I went to UCDavis, that got me $20 lift tickets to squaw and alpine meadows 3 years ago, needless to say I went about every other weekend...

Not much snowboarding since the baby came though.   I've been thinking about a run up there the weekend after this one with the wife and maybe other relatives.  Hopefully get grandma to watch the baby while we're gone.  If that works out I'd be happy to meet up with you guys if you're going at the same time.

Other than a little rust, I'm pretty darn good on the snowboard.  I was able to keep up with buddies on skis in moguls...

Hit Tahoe this last weekend.  Sunny and warm ... very much spring-like conditions.   Lot's of people skiing in T-shirts.  So here's a thought.  Let's do a spring trip and hit the snow one day and the lake the next.  I hear there are some nice macks residing in Lake Tahoe.

I'd grab the board and the boat and go as well.

Pops has a house in Incline-- let me see what days it is available in spring

i caught some macks trolling on a party boat last summer, but because they are so deep they just about pop on the way up, they do not fight much.  however, last november i top lined a small rapala and caught a 15" rainbow.

Has anyone fished Tahoe from a kayak?

It's such a big body of water - I wouldn't know where to start?

I'm sure launching would not be an issue but I'm sure having wheels would help.

So pop's house is available the weekend of March 20th and 21st (week of 14th through 21st actually) it looks like.  Right in Incline...so would be a quick trip to the water.  I've fished the area just a tiny bit...

its 3 bedroom, but loads of floor space...
