in need of a job please!

i have done construction for about 5 years home remodels, and i have been a gear and drive line mechanic for the last 4 years, i have been doing light machining for the past 8 months love the work cant deal with the guys there, bad crowd . I would perfer somthing semi local to livermore, but can travel. I am also a great welder fabricator, and good with my hands. I can email my resume, thanks james storm

James - I feel your pain brother. I have been looking for a job for a little while now. I am not in your industry but wanted to direct you to craigs list if you have not looked there already. They have a pretty good section on skilled labor and I have seen jobs on there for fabricators.

BTW - You may want to check out mountain cascade and olsen steel. I have a buddy that works at olsen and they don't seem to have been hit by the economy.
