Launched 7AM, used the leash connecting my hook remover to batten down the cooler, so that was left in the CRV. Did not give the beach much of a chance, and paddled 2 the end of the second rock wall. Paddled out against incoming until 10 ish. 500 yards N.E. of Red channel marker. No wind until 2 p.m./ paddled back against 1.5 knot currant. Found the flatty S.W. 400 yards First red channel marker second rock wall. 24 feet. Because I did not head South like I had planned, I may have missed out on some easy hallys. I spoke to two captans, one I put on the fish for at least one fish,@ the marker. The other captain was comming back from San Leandro channel, with 4 flatties, from 23-28 in the box. Off the water by 2:30. Working on another flatty in the sink, with ice, pic.
