The un-Bean Alternative: Forebay Fri Oct 17 and Sun Oct 19

Got the permission of the CFO (Chief Family Officer) to visit the Forebay Friday and Sunday afternoon. I'll play it by ear, but odds are I'll be in the channel along the rip rap to Check #13 (launching from near the old Medeiros boat ramp) and then moving into the flats towards dusk in the kayak--Orange Prowler 15. Probably fly fish but will bring spinning tackle to troll a bit and maybe plastics for Bass. Will monitor ch 69.  Company welcome.

Heck, that Vermillion in my pic was caught in the "Vermillion Pavillion" as SCAllen calls it out of the Bean in '06. Just an alternative for those not wanting to launch at the Bean or if the weather/seas don't cooperate.

Are you avoiding me? I am fishing Saturday...

Bill, I'll see what I can do to get down there Saturday maybe trade off Friday with the CFO. I discuss on the daily AM dog walk and staff meeting--where I usually get my orders for the day I have CQ all next week as wife will be on a business trip so it might work out for Saturday.
