Yes... it was a zoo.  Several thousand rednecks (me included) impatiently waited through the ceremony and introductions of celebrities before they opened the doors a 1/2 hour late.  Roland Martin, Jimmy Houston, and others were there to sign autographs, but who the hell cared about them when you could watch Raiderettes toss shirts into the crowd and see pool hustler Jeanette Lee, aka: "The Black Widow", destroy challengers at the her game.  I'm not exactly sure what billiards has to do with outdoor sporting goods, but the guys didn't seem to mind.

SCAllen was there working the kayak section for Ocean Kayak.  The indoor animal displays were cool.

Pic#1 -- The impatient crowd waiting to get in.
Pic#2 -- A couple Raiderettes
Pic#3 -- Jeanette Lee, "The Black Widow"
Pic#4 -- The Black Widow showing good shooting form
Pic#5 -- Allen representing.  He cleans up well. :smt003
Pic#6 -- One of the indoor displays.

Nice photos , especially the second one of the "Black Widow". Think  I may head down during mid-week in another week or two , trying to avoid the crowds !

Not sure why I did it, but I also went to the grand opening night. Like the others said, it was a crazy zoo. Visited with Allen and Chuck. Lots of fun toys there and I didn't buy a thing. I'll go back in a week or two.

I went Saturday night, and it wasn't as crowded as I thought it would be.  It was real nice and clean and fancy, but I'm still gonna get my gear from Fisherman's Warehouse on Yosemite.  I'll buy shoes and clothes from BPS though.

Fellas... You're all very welcome!
I just couldn't help myself.  She bent over to take the shot and my camera just went "click". :smt007

I started to read chucks post and had to stop midstream and go to the bathroom......  JP if you get rid of the WAF then you will have more time and money for BPS.  It's a win win, trust me!

I need your help.  I think I might have been staring at it for too long and so my mind is imagining things that may or may not be there.

Is she wearing a lighter color thong or is it just the way the fabric of her dress makes it seem that way?

If it's not a thong, could one of you photochop experts put a believable one in?

That would be a reason for much thanksgiving.  :salut:
