Got off work early Monday and decided to yak the sand down to Fish Bay.  It's hard to find time to fish when you're busy filming.   :smt003

I may be the only nut-job who hauls a yak 3 miles to play in tidepools and fish from a rock that I've walked to many times, and I'm OK with that.   :smt006

If you don't want to watch video for 15 minutes just skip it.  And if you want to give me the full Siskel and Ebert I'll take your criticisms to heart.

Enjoy.   :smt001

Eric,
In that I'm still in the dark ages with dial up service, you'll be happy to know that your videos are the only ones I will sit through--three seconds at a time :smt010
Why not hike in with a shorty wetsuit in pack, then upon beach arrival suit up and wade to the rocks?  What am I missing?
I'm on my way right now to Christensens to view their new batch of Rott pups.

Thanks, Guys.   :smt001

Tim - I've fished from that rock in street clothes dozens of times.  I have fun tooling around in my yak, and I like carrying all of my crap on it too.  I've carried 95 pounds of gear down the Lost Coast 6 miles in a framepack and in my hands - the Roleez-mobile is way better for stopping to appreciate the wonders of Nature - like that stinky cab carcass (that I just HAD to bring home!   :smt003).  "Nut-job", Tim...   :smt004

Now I really don't want to do any work. That place looks like it would be awesome for pokepoling at low tide.

Great stuff, especially the "yak building"  and "video diary" sequences. It's not a surprise they're so good now that I've worked out your secret identity; you're a natural in front of the camera.....or is that......a.......... myth..........  :smt003 :smt003 :smt003

Adam - go barefoot and you won't accumulate sand and rocks.   :smt002

Yes, Phil, the pokepoling there would be cool - I'll have to try that from my yak next year.

you're a natural in front of the camera.....or is that......a.......... myth..........

Is that one of the Myth-busters?  Those guys are cool - I'm not one of them!  Hey, maybe they'll do a show about me some day!

I'm not into explosives!  Although...  I have been pondering how I'll subdue the Pacific Halibut I want to catch.   :smt003  I think taking the .357 aboard the yak would be a mistake.   :smt002

They did not try to Blow me up, as far as I know. I actually got to be in a episode before the show began.

I was in the " GoldFinger/ Poppyseed drug test episode ",, at the time i was a Paramedic in San Francisco and was sent to a " Standby " that was at their Studio, which is just unbelievable.  Crap in Tupperware containers stacked 40' high to the ceiling!!!!
One could rig one hell of a Kayak out of there :smt007 :smt007

They are totally Kool and had a great Time hanging with them all day, funny thing was their little experiment actually went south and had to go to work...

All good and got to add to my 15 minutes of Fame...
