It was nice to be out on the water yesterday but no luck fishing.  I started at miller park, paddled to the mouth, and worked that for awhile.  There wasn't much going on there.  No crabs, No starfish, No nibbles, No take downs, No Nothing.  One PB said he landed a 12lbs striper in front of Dillon but no halibut.  I eventally made it back down to Hog and was off the water at about 2pm.
The scenery made up for the lack of fish though.  One thing that did blow me away was that I saw three Salmon cruising in the grass with a group of seal following behind.  I thought that was pertty crazy.
I guess if you what to catch halibut fish SF bay, but if you what to relax and forget about everything fish Tomales.

Sounds beautiful!   :smt001

Good soul nourishment can be had w/o hooking a fish.  That real life-fire adrenalin of the wild animal interaction though is so special - especially on top of being in such a beautiful area.  Keep tryin'!   :smt001

Being an honorable sportsman is way more important than what you catch.
